Local Forest
Walking in the forest is a great way to clear your mind and get creative. This painting is a view of a young Douglas fir forest we walk in regularly. 6"X6" Oil on block canvas
Living on the westcoast of Canada inspires me to create realistic and imagined works of art. My journey to draw and paint has continued from the beginning of my life. The use of colour with light and dark passages are my current explorations. Oil painting is my preferred medium today. Created in a painterly realistic style. I also work in acrylic paints, watercolour, pencil and ink.
